Sequel to my favorite game

Okay now...PoE2 is definitely more modern and I can see the bones of something great, but you take some of those pain points I mentioned in my review for PoE1 and they're just so much worse in EA PoE2. Campaign is painfully slow, build diversity is substantially worse early and man-oh-man do you get stuck on things. But I see the light. 1.0 is releasing end of 2026 and a 0.5 is releasing on May 29. Each update is huge and improves the game so much. I didn't start playing PoE1 until years after release when there were so many league mechanics built up to make the game as large as it was. Visually this game is stunning. There are some performance issues that are getting worked on as well that even I have to deal with on a relatively strong machine. If we can get to a point where we're as deep and rich as PoE1's gameplay was with the modern movement and visuals, there won't be an ARPG that can compete. I'm looking forward to that day.
