Picked up for $5 on Steam Summer Sale 2026

Has been fun so far and since it's a small scope indie game it runs great on the steam deck. Basically a gather + defend roguelike. It's a pretty fun and simple loop. My main gripes are that it feels a little too easy from what I've experienced and once I unlocked the assessor playable character it seemed even more trivial as I could invest way more in my defensive power rather than the need to upgrade gather strength or speed since he seems insane for both of those. Could just be that new player experience is good and the first few runs aren't super challenging or something but I'm playing on the second hardest difficulty...will have to play some more to really understand. Another kind of big loss for me is that half of the characters available are locked behind DLC, but I did get the game for super cheap so I'll let them off the hook for that one.
