my favorite mario game

It's not the "best" mario game but it's far and away my favorite mario game and story. It's been a very long time since I last played this (on dolphin, fuck you Nintendo), so I really can't remember/say how good the rpg aspects were. The characters, the story, the world building are all incredible. I remember how unique each chapter and section of the world felt and how attached I felt to every character. I don't have a switch, but if I do ever get one, I will absolutely be getting the remake of this game.

I almost had to downvote this one bc it triggered me so hard. I remember being like 80% of the way through the game and I couldn’t find this one door to finish a level. I legit bought a guide book from GameStop or something to figure out what to do and I shit you not the door never appeared. I swear to god it was bugged to this day. Maybe I’m just dumb though

Bro you got further than me. I got 2% of the way as a kid and couldn't figure out what to do past the first hub in Rogueport. i actually just spawned in after the boat dropped me off, walked around for 5 mins, got bored, turned off my gamecube, and then traded the game the next day for sonic heros like an absolute chad.
