Fun for a bit, but still VERY early in development
Making a review on a game I've played more recently (and for way less hours), Winds of Valen. It's a OSRS style game with point and click movement, progression trees on individual skills that tie into one another and extremely long grinds. The major difference is that it's spiced up by modern low-poly graphics. It's fun and quick to get into, but does fall off pretty quickly. I can see potential in it, but I can also imagine that it would be very time consuming to create as much content as OSRS has (and do it well). Right now you can progress to around level ~40 in about 10-12 skills. Most of these are somewhat intuitive and self explanatory, but instructions and QoL are lacking for sure and some of the more intricate parts of crafting something can be difficult to identify without detailed tooltips or in-game wiki or something along those lines. Also one more massive downside for me is that there's no way to add friends or make a party or something so I was trying to play with Bill but we just ended up doing our own thing and chatting about it after some time since it was hard to keep track of each other. Might wait on this one.
