A Rougue-like for the Ages!
Personally not really a rougue-like player, but this game... its sooo much more - i guess i was primarily attracted by the story and art style, but the mechanics are what kept me going ultimately. Unlocking the different weapons and getting through runs with each of them felt unique, even when doing multiple runs with the same one, because of the randomness introduced in boss fights, chance encounters, etc. The only downside for me was when i finally beat Hades enough times that i unlocked Heats, and by then i had seen it all in terms of story, so it kinda fizzled out for me. Wish there was a 'secret' ending that unlocked at the end of the Heats, which would have 100% kept me going, but for what it was, this journey of getting through hell was Hella Fun --- Highly recommend!

incredible attention to detail
There is literally specific dialogue and events for every interaction in the game you can possibly think of. Great music, art, story, and combat/movement. There is decent replayability and different builds to try out. Each weapon and aspect feels unique and brings completely different play styles. High heats are also a good challenge. Some minor critiques: Shield is way way way too broken. A lot of the events are RNG dependent and can take forever for what you need to happen. My tierlist - Shield > Bow > Fists > Rail > Sword > Spear Highest Heat Cleared - 42 with Shield of Beowulf 40 with Bow of Hera

Great dev and great game
Haven’t beaten yet and started playing again after @bill bought for me. Amazing characters and world. Fun combat and progression. Can’t wait to beat it a few times and then pick up the sequel
