Long ago in a distant land, Bungie and 343 still cared about their fanbase. The amount of in-game content, QOL, care, and legacy behind some of the best halo games are offered at such a steal. The campaigns, multiplayer, forge, and unlockable content are timeless and not paywalled. The way MCC allows you to navigate through different generations of Halo is seamless. The soundtrack and late-night LANs brings a tear to my eyes. They still have community updates for free skins and cosmetics on a periodical basis. The only caveat is needing a Microslop account to login and play. Nonetheless, my words do not do this collection justice. It's a complete preservation of one of the most prolific and nostalgic franchises before it went to corporate shit.
